One my favorite past season dresses: a reimagination of the Sienna Dress from 2015 married to our classic Clyde silhouette. With slimmer shoulders, deeper armholes and a lower neckline it has more of an overall-slash-jumper-dress feel, perfect for layering over a thin cropped tee, or throwing on over a strappy bra or even a still-salty swimwuit. Roomy and oversized, letting air flow reach your skin.

Deep Clyde pockets are practical and visually interesting, while vertical princess seams provide flattering length. I like picturing this piece getting lots of mileage in art studios, at beachside restaurants, and on long travel days.

Material & Care: Midweight Linen

100% Linen, Oeko-Tex certified. Medium weight, sturdy broadcloth that can be pressed to a neat, crisp finish or left wrinkled after washing for a perfectly lived-in look. Linen possesses natural strength and durability, and it's a super friendly fiber on the environment. It requires very little processing, and is hypoallergenic, comfortable in all seasons, insulating, and absorbent.

Linen is a natural fiber made from cellulose fiber inside the stalks of the flax plant. It is a complete product of nature, and can vary drastically in color and texture based on the growing conditions of the season. Variations in base color and texture are not uncommon.

Natural imperfections in weave are also to be expected and embraced--slubs, nubs, and occasional bits of organic matter are common in linen. If you are looking for the homogeny and perfection of a synthetic fiber or a finely woven cotton you will not find it in linen.

Wash on gentle cycle with cold water. Tumble dry warm. Leave unpressed for a beautifully rumpled look or press on medium heat with steam to remove wrinkles.

Linen is a natural fiber and is expected to wear and fade over time, which we love.
