We took the Clyde pattern with its easy, high-rise elastic waist and large, crescent-shaped side pockets and adapted it into a full, voluminous skirt. The beauty here is in the structure and shape it’s interesting without being unwearable. Practicality is key: the pockets are large and perfect for phone, wallet, keys and there is plenty of movement to curl up on the floor with a book or hustle through the street to grab a cab.

Pair with a fitted top for a nostalgic, hourglass silhouette or with something oversized for an interesting, ultra-modern shape.

Material & Care: Midweight Linen

100% Linen, Oeko-Tex certified. Medium weight, sturdy broadcloth that can be pressed to a neat, crisp finish or left wrinkled after washing for a perfectly lived-in look. Linen possesses natural strength and durability, and it's a super friendly fiber on the environment. It requires very little processing, and is hypoallergenic, comfortable in all seasons, insulating, and absorbent.

Linen is a natural fiber made from cellulose fiber inside the stalks of the flax plant. It is a complete product of nature, and can vary drastically in color and texture based on the growing conditions of the season. Variations in base color and texture are not uncommon.

Natural imperfections in weave are also to be expected and embraced--slubs, nubs, and occasional bits of organic matter are common in linen. If you are looking for the homogeny and perfection of a synthetic fiber or a finely woven cotton you will not find it in linen.

Wash on gentle cycle with cold water. Tumble dry warm. Leave unpressed for a beautifully rumpled look or press on medium heat with steam to remove wrinkles.

Linen is a natural fiber and is expected to wear and fade over time, which we love.
