An effortless, minimal tee dress engineered to be a true workhorse in your wardrobe. The Georgia is one of the first styles I designed, and the pattern was drafted with universal fit in mind. The shoulder seam and sleeve without an armscye look intentional on all shoulder breadths, the substantial cuff wings out and draws clean lines on any arm, and the elegant midi length is never out of place.

This is the midi version of our Georgia Tee, which was influenced by effortless caftans from the '60s and '70s but with less material and more practicality in mind. I also drew on neat, crisp blouses from the '40s when women started wearing separates to work. Architectural drama and movement paired with structure and simplicity. A dress that can go anywhere and do just about anything.

It hits mid-calf, and the hem is slightly longer in the back than in the front. This dress is meant for road trips along the coast, layered over flowing trousers for balmy evening dining all'aperto, and paired with bare feet for lazy afternoons indoors with a good book.

Cut from a beautifully textured crinkly linen gauze. It has inherent stretch so it hugs the body beautifully while still retaining drape. Organic and variegated in color and feel.

100% Linen in a lightweight gauze that has a wonderful texture. The crinkled finish gives the fabric an inherent stretch. It's airy and floaty without being too sheer, hugging the body in slimmer styles and draping beautifully in others. It's lighter than our Midweight Linen but still strong and durable. It will only soften and improve with age, starting out with a coarser finish but with the ability to become more supple and flexible with wear. Linen possesses natural strength and durability, and it's a super friendly fiber on the environment. It requires very little processing, and is hypoallergenic, comfortable in all seasons, insulating, and absorbent.

This yarn-dyed gauze possesses rustic charm and variation, giving it an organic personality.

Linen is a natural fiber made from cellulose fiber inside the stalks of the flax plant. It is a complete product of nature, and can vary drastically in color and texture based on the growing conditions of the season. Variations in base color and texture are not uncommon.

Natural imperfections in weave are also to be expected and embraced--slubs, nubs, and occasional bits of organic matter are common in linen. If you are looking for the homogeny and perfection of a synthetic fiber or a finely woven cotton you will not find it in linen.

Wash on gentle cycle with cold water. Tumble dry hot. Store folded or flat in order to avoid stretching. The crinkled finish is intentional, so do not press. To remove fold creases or wrinkles, lightly steam or toss in the dryer with a damp towel.

Linen is a natural fiber and is expected to wear and fade over time, which we love.

    Love it! So comfortable.

Love it! So comfortable. Just lacks pockets. But still, one of my new favorites. Great fabric.

so comfortable and texture of fabric creates chic factor

great dress to wear into pregnancy so far (i am 16wks). i love the linen gauze texture especially in black, it just gives the dress some extra interest and feels more chic and better for the office. i am 5’4” and happy with the length but i think those shorter than me may feel it’s a little long - definitely more maxi than midi - length options in the future could be a good idea.

    I love this dress...

I love this dress and have worn it once a week since buying it. I was disappointed to learn the dress does not come with the belt, which wasn't mentioned in the listing, and the belt shown has been discontinued. I found a belt that works with it, but I'd prefer to have a belt of the same fabric. The dress is much more flattering on my body type with a belt.

Besides that, the dress is great and I will wear it often in spring, summer and early fall.

Thank you for this feedback, Lauren, and we apologize this wasn't specified in the listing! We will work on updating products for future clarity. We hope you continue enjoying your dress!

    Versatile

I’m surprised at how often I’ve worn this. I bought two belts to go with it, and used my existing belts as well. It is very comfortable and versatile. The fabric is lovely. No pockets tho!

    Simply slaps

Slaps as hard as possible, the most comfortable thing I own, somehow looks fancy even if I'm stinky, sweating buckets and not wearing underwear.
