The ultimate everyday sweater. This is a silhouette I have craved winter after winter--a luxurious, weighty, plain-knit piece that's just relaxed enough in the shoulders and arms to feel easy, with plenty of room in the body for layering, and long enough to wear with leggings and have full coverage. Pairs just as nicely with elegant silk trousers as it does with athleisure. Truly, to me, the perfect tunic I could wear all winter long. The thick crew neck and generous ribbed hems feel truly delicious.
Knit from our custom Climate Beneficial™ Wool yarn by a luxury family owned knitting mill in LA. As with all natural fiber knits, pilling is to be expected with wear and is not considered a defect. Pills can be removed with a sweater stone/comb, razor, or even simply removed with scissors.
MaryMarie is wearing a L/XL but could easily size up for a more relaxed fit. She has a 51" chest, 45" waist, and 55" hip.
Kaitlin is wearing a XXS/XS and could also size up if she wanted. She has a 34" chest, 26" waist, and 37" hip.

An immeasurably soft midweight wool with a supple, rich handfeel. Not at all itchy, and super warm without excessive weight. Because of its moisture wicking properties, it’s sure to keep you comfortable on a brisk winter day, breathing as well as insulating.
Our wool is sourced entirely in the continental US, drastically reducing the carbon footprint of this material because it’s not being shipped across the globe. The material is Climate Beneficial™, meaning the ranchers providing our fiber utilize land stewardship practices that sequester more carbon than their operation emits. They are predominantly small, family owned ranches, and they all practice responsible land management, employ local workers, and uphold the Five Freedoms standard for animal welfare.

Our fiber is processed and dyed by a family owned dye house and spinning mill, all in the Northeast. Supporting these often decades old businesses and continuing to invest in the US textile industry is a point of pride for this project. The weight and colors of our wool were all intentionally chosen and this material is exclusive to Elizabeth Suzann Studio, making each piece one to treasure.
Hand wash with cold water and wool detergent. Lay flat to dry. For a crisper look, press on high heat with steam and a wool clapper.
*Due to wool's short staple fibers, some pilling is to be expected in areas of high friction. Use a wool brick or sweater shaver to remove pills.

The wool on this sweater feels so special! It's gorgeous and soft and thick. I love the ribbing at the hem and sleeves. And of course, the design is fantastic. I sized down for a slimmer look (in the L/XL range, but took the S/M and very happy I did!). I was afraid it might be on the fumpy side for me with the long length (I have hips and am short!), but no. I can wear it with full length on display, not having to worry about tucking in part of it (and feeling awkward and pulling at it all day) and still looking like I have a shape! Plus, the exquisite slightly high neck.. Yes, it's hard not to buy another color in this one.

I bought this piece for a couple reasons… first, as a replacement for an much-loved cotton Black Crane quilted sweater that was the perfect shade of olive but nearing the end of its life, and second because I now live in a colder climate where wool is my fabric of choice from Nov-March. I’m thrilled to say that the color match is IDENTICAL to my old sweater and the wool is dense but light, which is just the dream combo for me. I am 5’7”, 157-160 and 38-30/32-40 and bought the S/M based on reviews.I have broad shoulders so the shoulders fit me like a normal sweater would, but the rest of the sweater is slim but loose, which was what I was hoping for. I don’t usually buy multiples but I may have to for the charcoal :)

The quality is nice but it seems the information in the listing is off. It says the curvier model is wearing a L/XL and it fits them loosely. Taking their measurements in to account against my own (which are smaller by only a few inches), I ordered the 2X/3x because I wanted a really oversized fit. I tried the sweater on immediately when I got it and it is skin tight. There is no way the model in the photo is wearing a L/XL. On my body, the 2X/3X is tight, not loose at all. Very disappointed by the inaccurate listing.
